ISSUE 02
We've upped the ante in Issue 02, with 226 pages of fascinating storytelling, adventures, and special features.
Added in Issue 02 is the first of what will be a series of excerpts from an upcoming book by Ghislain Barbe. He's taking us year-by-year through the mid 20th Century, describing classic sci-fi movies in depth, and adding historical perspective concerning important real world events that were occurring at the time the movies were released.
As always, we feature stories by modern authors as well as some of the best names in science fiction. In Issue 02, we continue (and conclude) our story by Ray Bradbury, "The Creatures That Time Forgot." We share an adventure by Andre Norton called "All Cats Are Gray," and we give you an interesting biography on the lady author who used a man's name. There's also a look at the robot-oriented writings of Isaac Asimov, where we grade him on the accuracy of his predictions about the future of artificial intelligence.
And, lots more!
ISSUE 01
June 11th, 2024 marked the official launch of The Interocitor, a free, all-volunteer classic science fiction short story magazine featuring the works of some of the world's all-time-best sci-fi authors. The magazine is in high-quality PDF format, readable on any device larger than a phone.
Issue 01 has over 150 pages, with six fantastic short stories, along with columns by contributing writers who have given us great historical perspectives about classic stories written by the masters.
The Interocitor is a free publication, created by volunteer writers and staff for the pure pleasure of working on it. We'd like to thank the talented people who contribute their writing, artistry, and expertise. The one compensation volunteers receive is an opportunity to advertise their works (books, artwork, and other products) in the issues where they have participated.
Maybe you'd like to be a part of our effort. In addition to writers, we need help with proofreading, research, publicity, and circulation. Hit this button if you might like to learn more. You're not obligating yourself, just expressing an interest.
